Free Google review velocity calculator
How many reviews do I need to catch my competitors?
Pick your business and up to three competitors; we fill in their current Google review counts. Add how many new reviews each gets a month and you see how long it takes to pass them, and how many reviews a week you need to pass them in your chosen time.

Competitors you want to pass
Google doesn't show anyone's review history, so estimate how many new reviews each competitor gets a month. Look at the dates of their newest reviews on Google Maps. Leave it empty to assume none.
Send review requests by email or SMS with one reminder and see who clicked, without chasing customers yourself.

What is review velocity?
How many new reviews a business gets over time, for example 6 a month. A steady flow of recent reviews tells customers and Google the business is active.
Where does the competitor review count come from?
Google's public data for that business, the same total you see on Google Maps.
Why do I have to estimate competitors' monthly reviews?
Google doesn't publish anyone's review history. Look at the dates on a competitor's newest reviews on Google Maps to estimate it.
How do I get more reviews?
Ask every customer soon after the visit, with a direct review link or QR code. Our free review link generator makes one in seconds.
